Arenal and Man Utd: Martin Keown discusses huge rivalry amid Cesc Fabregas pizza admission

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson’s sides were at the peak of their powers.
No other English club was nearly as successful during that period, and Martin Keown experienced it all.
The Gunners legend was a regular at the heart of Arsenal’s defence over that period.
And nobody will ever forget his infamous attack on Ruud van Nistelrooy at Old Trafford in his final season at Arsenal.
One historic incident from games between the two sides came in 2004, after Keown had left, when Ferguson was struck by a slice of pizza after a feisty encounter which United won, ending Arsenal’s unbeaten run.
