Arsenal amend contracts in event of Champions League failure

Arsenal have taken steps to ensure the club’s financial health is not damaged should they fail to finish in the top four of the Premier League by designing the players’ new contracts to include pay cuts if they are not playing Champions League football, the Daily Mirror has reported.The Gunners are currently adrift of the Champions League places in seventh, five points off fourth-placed West Bromwich Albion.
