Arsenal apologise to fan injured by stray Song shot

Arsenal have today apologised to a 16 year old West Brom fan after she suffered a chipped tooth after being hit in the face by a stray Alex Song shot during Arsenal’s warm up before the last match of the season which took place at the Hawthorns at the weekend.
Angie Morley, from Birmingham, said that a few of the Arsenal players had ‘giggled’ when the shot had went in to the crowd, though this was probably more at Alex Song’s efforts at long range shooting than at the fact she was hurt.
A spokesman for Arsenal said
We are so sorry to learn that a West Bromwich Albion fan was hit by a ball during the warm-up before Sunday’s match.
We hope that she makes a quick recovery and as soon as we get her details, we will be in contact to offer our best wishes.
