Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Jack Wilshere will not leave

Giroud has just signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the club, but talks have yet to take place with Walcott, who has 18 months left.
Wilshere too has yet to be offered a new deal despite being out of contract next summer.
Wenger said: “When you pick a team you do not necessarily look how long a contract is. You consider many different things.
“But the shorter the contract is, the more hungry the players are usually. The hunger index drops with the length of the contract.
“I can only play with 11 players and the players have to deal with that and so do I. I try to give them competition. But these are discussions I have had with the players. It’s part of it.”
