Dnipro’s playmaker Yevhen Konoplyanka is reportedly being monitored by a host of Premier League clubs, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea leading the pack.
Konoplyanka could be available for a relatively low fee, but his price could skyrocket after the upcoming Euro Championships, where he is expected to lead his country’s challenge.
The 22-year-old is keen to play in one of Europe’s top leagues, but Dnipro have a billionaire owner, who handsomely rewards his players from a young age. The top clubs in Ukraine are reluctant to sell homegrown players to foreign clubs, with only three members of Ukraine’s Euro 2012 squad playing their trade outside the country.
