Arsenal Close In On Cazorla

Arsenal are close to completing a deal for attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla according to the Daily Mail today. Due to Malaga’s ongoing financial problems a deal in the region of £15 million could be completed later this week as the Gunners hope to have the Spanish Euro 2012 star available for their final pre-season match against FC Cologne. While the rumours of a move for Cazorla have been circling all week I decided not to post anything on the site on them until more news came to light about the story, but in the past 24 hours the transfer has gathered pace according to several different news outlets, the Daily Mail being the latest of them.
