Arsenal Close To Landing Chelsea Fan?

Arsenal are ready to offload Andrei Arshavin from their ranks and replace him with his Russian teammate Alan Dzagoev, who has had an incredible European so far.

Arshavin has failed to really make the impact he was expected to make following his move to Arsenal in the summer of 2008. Last season, he was loaned to his former club Zenit St Petersburg in a deal which expires after the European Championships conclude, after which he will return to the Gunners. However, Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for the Russian forward for a permanent transfer.
Manager Arsene Wenger is also looking at Alan Dzagoev as a potential replacement for the 31-year-old. Dzagoev has long been tipped to be the eventual successor to Arshavin for the national team. Still only 21, he is having a tremendous Euro...
