Arsenal flight to Norwich criticised for all the wrong reasons

Arsenal, who made the decision to undertake a 14 minute flight from Luton to Norwich because of what the club described as a ‘temperamental’ A11 as well as engineering works which had been planned for the railway line, have come under fire from the co-ordinator of the Norwich and Norfolk Friends of the Earth.
Jennifer Parkhouse said
It’s absolutely absurd. I cannot see any reason why they would have flown other than it being a rather ostentatious display of the players’ and the club’s wealth. If the flight took 14 minutes, they must have spent more time just getting on an off the plane than the air.
