Arsenal hammer four past Cologne , Podolski shines with a brace

Arsenal have ended their pre-season programme on a high as they thrashed Cologne 4-0 Rhein Energie Stadion, with Lukas Podoslki scoring a brace while a certain Robin van Persie made a substitute appearance. The Friendly in Germany was part of the deal that brought Podolski to the Emirates from Cologne this summer.
