Arsenal identify £40m signing as man to replace under-performing first team regular

According to a report in the Mirror, Arsenal have identified £40m-rated Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland as a transfer target as Arsene Wenger looks to replace Petr Cech this summer.
Cech’s form has slowly declined ever since he joined the club from Chelsea in 2015 and he’s made a number of errors this season that have cost us valuable points.
The Czech legend will turn 36 in May and there is no doubt we need to find a replacement in the summer if we’re to build a squad capable of challenging for the title.
A number of players have been linked with a move to the Emirates in recent weeks but the Sun – via the Mirror – claims that Arsenal have now identified Butland as a potential target.
