Arsenal leading the likes of AC Milan in pursuit of Monaco’s €10m midfielder

Arsenal are said to be adamant that there will be no purchases this January, just loan deals if they make sense to the club for the rest of the season. Unai Emery made some important additions last summer including Bernd Leno and Lucas Torreira, and while the transfer kitty appears to be empty now, there is room for a loan deal or two.
The Express state that the latest focus of Unai Emery and Arsenal’s attention is on Youssef Ait Bennasser at Monaco, who are in the relegation zone in Ligue 1. The Gunners will hope a deal can be done between the clubs, especially so with former-striker Thierry Henry in-charge at the French Riviera club.
