Arsenal loanee Nicklas Bendtner has strongly suggested that a return to the Emirates is not on the cards saying that he ready for a ‘new challenge’ at another club.
Bendtner was strongly linked with a permanent move away from the Emirates last summer, but potential suitors seemed few and far between with the big Dane resorting to a temporary move to Sunderland instead.
With the Black Cats Bendtner has had a respectable season scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists from 28 starting appearances, although reports suggest that a permanent move to the Stadium of Light is doubtful.
Bendtner said to Danish football magazine Tipsbladet on his future:
I am ready for new challenges. I have heard about concrete interest from other clubs, who sound interesting, but I can’t say more...
