Arsenal have confirmed that their Boxing Day clash with Wolves has been put back 24 hours due to a proposed Tube strike that will have massive transportation repercussions to and from the Emirates.
The match will now be played on Tuesday, December 27 at 3pm, which means the Gunners will have an extremely hectic festive period with Premier League fixtures against Wolves, QPR and Fulham in the space of seven days.
Arsenal’s official website stated:
As a result of the industrial action on London Underground on Monday 26th December, our home Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, originally planned for Boxing Day, has been postponed.
