Arsenal News: Gunners win pre-season tournament [Video Highlights]

Arsenal have won the Markus Liebherr Memorial Cup despite losing the final match to Southampton on penalties (5-4) after the match ended 1-1.
Arsene Wenger sent a relatively inexperienced squad to the tournament with only a few familiar first-team faces consisting of Marouane Chamakh, Andre Santos, Gervinho, Johan Djourou and Kieran Gibbs.
The tournament comprised of three 45 minute matches involving Arsenal, newly promoted Southampton and current Belgian Champions Anderlecht playing each other once.
In their first match, Arsenal came up against Anderlecht and managed to secure a 1-0 victory courtesy of a low cross to Henri Lansbury by right-back Carl Jenkinson. Lansbury made no mistake with the finish, which marked a great return to Arsenal colours for the young Englishman.
