Gunners captain and talisman Robin van Persie has been shortlisted for the PFA Premier League Player of the Year award.
The dangerous striker has enjoyed his best season yet in Arsenal colours scoring a sensational 27 goals in the league and nailing 10 assists to see him join the six man list.
Arsenal newboy Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has also been nominated for the league’s Young Player of the Year award after a sensational debut season following his big money move from Southampton last summer.
The winner will be announced at the PFA awards on Sunday.
