2 goals for Super-Sub CESC !!!

He was a major doubt for the game early of the week. 24 hours before the game, he was declare 50:50 by the manager, and few hours before the match he was declare fit to sit on the bench; not in the starting 11.First half of the game saw Villa defended well (as did Arsenal), but Arsenal failed to establish any goals although they did control the game. Villa looked threatening on the counter with their pacy wingers and strikers but also failed to re-capture their glory day 12 months ago at the same venue. In the second-half, both teams continue where they've left off. 11 minutes into the second half, Wenger introduced Cesc Fabregas into the game. Arsenal put pressure on the Villa defence soon afterward and saw Gallas and Eduardo chances cleared off the line and in between that saw Arshavin low shot saved by Friedel. The first goal came in the 75th minute. Fabregas won a freekick 25 yards out, he then exquisitely executed a sublime effort into the top left-hand corner which erupts the emirates stadium with delights. A sense of relief to all the Arsenal fans and especially for the players.Villa then pushed forward in search for an equaliser, but soon find themselves trailing by 2 goals. Armand Traore picked up and astray pass from Milner, and quickly arrowed a diagonal pass to Theo Walcott on the right. Walcott then put an inch-perfect passed to the tireless Cesc Fabregas before netting his and Arsenal second 9 minutes from time. It's game over for Aston Villa and also for Cesc Fabregas whom feeling a slight discomfort on his hamstring after scoring the second goal.Cesc was then taken off to give way for Aaron Ramsey. The captain was cheered off the pitch by all the Arsenal Fans @ the Emirates for his outstanding cameo performance. Arsenal then made sure of the 3 points when Diaby capped another fine perfomance in front of the home fans with a superb low shot goal. Another clean-sheet, another 3 goals margin in 2 consecutive home games lift Arsenal up to second place for few hours atleast.Cesc only appeared on the pitch for 27 minutes and grabbed 2 goals to win it for Arsenal. Hope he will only had minor injuries after tonight's game, and will be back for the Portsmouth game on Wednesday. He is a vital backbone for Arsenal team and it really shows tonight that he can change the game when he is playing. Yeah, he can have bad day as well but when he is in the mood, he can surely destroy the opposing team.GO GUNNERS and Thank You Francesc Fabregas Soler !!!
