Reports in the media today are suggesting Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has "said" that if he were to move to Italy - AC Milan would be his preffered destination. The whole Cesc leaving thing has already surpassed comical levels and now are heading beyond belief. Why Milan have got themselves involved, inviting the Spaniard's agent for talks (Son of David Dein) is unbelievably arrogant behaviour - if true, considering he's only just been given a new responsibility as the Arsenal captain. Now, Cesc has been quoted today as telling the Gazzette dello sport (leading Italian newspaper) as saying: "I would undoubtedly pick the Rossoneri. I think they are the Italian side that play the best football. I mean, there are several strong outfits in Serie A, such as Inter, Juventus and Roma, but they seem too much dependent on their star players."They run into trouble as soon as these are out injured. On the other hand, Milan lean on the group and their organization. I feel this is a winning mentality and a philosophy that I approve of."Clearly there is something missing here, and that is the QUESTION which would ask whether he would leave Arsenal for Milan. My premonition? the question was simply, "Which club do you admire the most in Italy". It's so conveniently left out isnt it.Fabregas will probably make a statement now saying how he never said he wanted to leave blah blah, when he clearly doesn't have to. Wenger will probably come out and attack Milan for attempting to deviously begin negotiations with the player in question. Key word in that sentence is "attempting" as there is no doubt Cesc is fully focused on his role at Arsenal. It's getting pretty outrageous to be fair. Just let the lad play his football.
