Adebayor is a deluded man

Just read Emmanuel Adebayor's peice on the Arsenal website, reffering to how he can't leave as Arsenal made him one of the "biggest strikers in the world". This guy is absolutely unbelievable. Now I am in no way solely blaming him for yesterday's exit in the champions league but as soon as I saw Adebayor play his first few games for Arsenal, I said "As long as Adebayor is leading the line at this club, we will never win a trophy". I have obviously been proved right from the big man. Big man? hmmm, I suppose that means he's supposed to bully defences right? Muscle out even the best of defences, win everything in the air, hold everything up, but no, this big man can only be described as a weakling with no heart. Ji Sung Park, 5'6", outmuscled Adebayor yesterday with so much ease, leaving the Togo man hanging on his back trying to win the ball but he couldnt, a man half his size was physically stronger, and had more desire - pathetic. He say's in his interview that he can't leave Arsenal because they made him, and how he has to pay them back and make them win trophies...He's not capable, and should be sold as soon as the window re-opens. FA cup semi final he had one shot on goal disturbingly blazed over the bar, against man utd in the first leg he had one shot on goal disturbingly blazed over the bar, in the 2nd leg he had one tame effort on goal. Proof his goal against Villareal was the ultimate fluke. People will talk about how he's isolated in the 4-5-1, once again, pathetic. Why is it that when Bendtner came on late in the game he had a shot on goal before Ade did in the whole game. Adebayor needs balls on a plate for him before he scores, he doesnt have the desire to make something happen for himself.Quite frankly, I'm sick of saying it but that's the key ingredient we lack, desire, passion, heart, winning mentality, we dont have any of them. Nasri, and Eboue when he came on were the only people who looked angry about the situation and were working their socks off last night, everyone else caved in. Yes we were caught by two sucker punches early, but what happened when Man utd played spurs and they were 2-0 down early, did they just stop playing? That's the difference. People love to have a go at Eboue but nobody seems to realise how much of a great engine the lad has, his willingness to fight for the club even if he does flop a few times is 2nd to none, and I rate him for that, as long as he keeps giving 100% he can stay for as long as he wants in my book. People like Djourou, Song, Diaby, Adebayor who look like their high on weed throughout the whole game should be the ones to be benched or sold. Song has had a decent season, but his energy levels in most games are incredibly poor. Mascherano or Flamini even are a cut above him when it comes to holding midfielders. We need a lot more penetration in the midfield to compliment Cesc, because Cesc has shown he simply cant run or do anything physically like Gerrard. Technically he is the best, and can find killer balls, but we need someone penetrating alongside him and bursting through the midfield. That's where Wilshere's got to be given his chance. Theo Walcott hardly had a kick in both legs, no way am I suggesting Theo should be sold, but maybe it's time Wenger gave him that chance up front. No one blames Gibbs, as toure said he's been outstanding, and I hope he plays against Chelsea so he has a chance to regain some confidence. We need a strong unit, who will do anything to win at all costs, people like Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo, Park, even Fletcher who isnt the most gifted technically but he will work his socks off for the cause. Instead we have a team full of Berbatovs. The first thing I would do if I was Arsene is let Ade go, and snap up Babel from Liverpool. He has a lot more fight in him and a lot more finishing quality too. Then I would sign Micah Richards, Wenger will sort out his weight issues no problem and make him what he was a couple of years ago. Thirdly, I would give Wilshere, Ramsey, and Vela a real chance next year. Sorry for the long post. I had to let off some steam.
