Birmingham boss confident 'Eduardo' incident is in the past

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish insists the infamous Eduardo leg break incident is long forgotten, as the Blues prepare to meet Arsenal on Saturday some 20 months after the incident at St Andrews.Martin Taylor's horror tackle on Eduardo left the Croatian forward with a broken left fibula and an open dislocation of his left ankle.Gunners boss Arsene Wenger later retracted some harsh comments and McLeish has dismissed suggestions there is bad blood between the teams. He said: "I've seen Arsene many times since and it has not been mentioned. Life goes on. I don't think we want to go over the history of the Eduardo incident."There are many controversial things that have happened in football since and we move forward."Martin will not have a chance to shake hands with Eduardo because he is injured. He has suffered from a bad injury over the last 10-12 weeks and we won't see him for a while yet."
