Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has stated his willingness to wait for his dream move to the premier league, insisting on a refusal to sign a contract extension and leaving the Ligue 1 champions on a free next summer when his contract expires. A lot can happen in a year, and it remains to be seen whether the club he really wants to join, Arsenal, will still be interested:"We will try to sort out a transfer" Chamakh told Canal+."Maybe I will stay, but for me there is no question of signing an extension.Arsenal have cooled off their interest in Chamakh for a little while and with the Arsenal attack looking very much complete following their thumping against Everton, the question is whether or not the Morrocan is indeed needed. An argument can be made for the fact the gunners do need quality cover upfront, but at the same time it can be argued we already do, with the likes of Vela, Walcott and Eduardo in the ranks and didn't start at Goodison on saturday. Our defence looked solid but Everton's attack was indeed flat, and I believe we still need one more centre back to ensure adequate cover.
