Eduardo 'very upset' and 'annoyed' over Uefa ban

Arsenal striker Eduardo is said to be "annoyed" and "upset" over his two game ban and fine, courtesy of Uefa. The Brazilian born Croat is currently with the Croatia squad preparing for the game against England, however signs of Eduardo being hindered by proceedings back home are clear to see for his team mates:"Eduardo is very upset and annoyed by the charge. Normally he is a very happy character but he's not like that at the moment," said Croatian strike partner Olic."I think the punishment is very harsh and difficult to accept. Eduardo is a very honest and good professional. He wouldn't try to trick a referee."Arsenal have already declared their intent in fighting the charge and backing Eduardo all the way, however whether Uefa complies is another matter altogether. An Arsenal statement read:"We strongly believe that the decision taken is deeply flawed and not based on any forensic review of the video evidence available. There are obvious errors and inconsistencies in Uefa's judgment and we intend to appeal."If the appeal was not to be successful, the Arsenal striker will miss the first two fixtures in this years Champions League group phase, against both Standard Liege and Olympiakos respectively.
