Share goals glory for good of Arsenal

Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie admitted that he is not yet fully satisfied with his form in the new role as Arsenal main's central striker, but says he would be content to continue sharing goals this season. With 9 games gone (Premier League and Cup competitions) in the new season, Arsenal already had 14 different goalscorers, with the team having score in every game and collectively already accumulated 27 goals at an average of 3 goals per game."The way we are doing it now is that everyone is sharing the goals," he said. "I should score more personally but, as long as we share the goals and everyone is passing it at the right moment, I am happy."Of Arsenal's 4-2-3-1 system this season, Van Persie added: "I don't feel that I'm at the top of my game as a main striker yet. I have to improve on many things but it is quite new and the main thing is that the boss really backs me on this one."After Arsenal's surprise defeat last season at Fulham, Van Persie is expecting a particularly difficult game on Saturday. However, he says that continuing the club's good form against teams from outside the so-called 'big four' will be decisive in whether Arsenal can mount a a challenge for the Premier League title."If you look last year, the way Manchester United became champions was against the smaller teams. "They won against all the teams from 19 to 10. That is why they became champions. So it is very important to win these games maybe even more in the end." ©
