English giants Arsenal have a new competitor equally keen on landing Real Madrid’s out-of-favor midfielder Nuri Sahin on a season long deal, the competitor being Italy’s AC Milan.
Sahin has been granted permission to leave Madrid on a loan deal as his place looks set to be on the bench for the coming season. Arsenal have been linked with the Turkish midfielder in recent weeks as the Gunners look to add quality to their squad, which has been strengthened by the summer arrivals of Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla.
