Arsenal set to beat Liverpool to midfielders signature according to reports

Arsenal are set to sign Nuri Sahin on a loan deal from Real Madrid, reports The Mirror.
Arsenal, it seems, have hijacked Sahin from right under Liverpool’s noses, and the Turkish international has agreed to sign a one year deal with the Gunners. Liverpool had agreed to pay a larger proportion of the youngster’s wages, but it seems Sahin chose Arsenal in order to play in the Champions League.
The 23 year old is set to join the London club after a torrid first season at the Bernabeu, and is set to replace Alex Song in the heart of Arsenal’s midfield, with the Cameroonian having made a move to Barcelona.
