Arsenal set to secure £22m deal for new first-choice goalkeeper

Arsenal are in the hunt for a new goalkeeper this summer after inconsistent performances from Petr Cech and David Ospina, with Unai Emery seemingly set to land his prime target.
German outlet Bild state that Arsenal have agreed a deal worth a reported £22m to sign Germany international stopper Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen, with head of recruitment Sven Mislintat leading the charge.
Leno is seen as the ideal long-term replacement for Cech, who turned 36 last month, and has been a crucial part of Bayer Leverkusen’s side in recent years after joining from fellow Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart.
