Arsenal Striker Looks Likely To Quit Emirates This Summer

Arsenal’s second, or probably third choice on-loan striker Nicklas Bendtner is set to return to his parent club after his loan deal at Sunderland expired on Sunday. The Danish looks likely to quit the Gunners permanently, and has learnt of interest from quite a few other clubs as well.

After playing second fiddle to the likes of Robin van Persie and Marouane Chamakh, Bendtner was starved of playing time last season. He was hence sent out on loan to Sunderland to enable him to earn some much needed match time.
He has done well for the Black Cats this season in front of goal, but will now return to London after playing his last match for Sunderland on Sunday.
