Arsenal target signs for Liverpool

It is being reported on the Fenway Sports Group website that rumoured Arsenal target Clint Dempsey has signed for Liverpool.  There are no details about the deal, but the site, which is run by the company who owns Liverpool, claim that the American will join Liverpool’s other new signing, Fabio Borini.
Arsenal had been linked with signing Dempsey who made 41 appearances for Fulham last season in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and creating six, although no official sources had ever confirmed the link or Arsenal’s interest.  The 29 year old, who signed for Fulham in 2007 from American side New England Revolution, had enjoyed his best season in the Premier Legaue last year.
