Arsenal will make a surprise summer move for Chelsea’s Daniel Sturridge, according to the Daily Mail.
It is reported that the Gunners’ chief scout, Steve Rowley, is the main man behind any move for the England international.
Sturridge is supposedly frustrated with the Chelsea management at having to play in a wider role rather than his favoured central striker position, where he believes he is most effective. Especially given the lack of goals from Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba, with the Englishman leading Chelsea’s scoring charts this season following a successful loan spell with Bolton last year.
Any offer for the former Man City attack...
