Arsenal Transfer Target: Ganso

Arsenal have reportedly registered their interest in Santos’ Brazilian playmaker Ganso in the past week and as the Brazil national team train at the Gunners’ London Colney HQ, in preparation for the upcoming London Olympics, this week, Arsene Wenger is set to cast an eye over one of his principal targets from close quarters. Indeed, the latest rumours are that the Gunners boss wants an even closer look at the 22-year-old by sending scouts to watch him play against Team GB tonight at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium.
Wenger is believed to be on the hunt for an attacking midfielder this summer as he desperately seeks to bolster his squad in the wake of Robin Van Persie’s refusal to sign a new deal at the club.
