Arsenal turn to Cabaye afer missing out on Sahin

France has provided Arsene Wenger with a bucket load of stars down the years and the Express feels Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye could be next in line. Arsenal missed out on Real Madrid’s Nuri Sahin as Liverpool swooped ahead of the Gunners for the Turkish midfielder, who was seen as a replacement for the departed Alex Song. Wenger is keen on bringing in a ball-playing midfielder to replace the combative Song and Cabaye perfectly fits the bill.
The 26 year old Frenchman has been immense for the Magpies since joining them from Lille last year and has since been tipped to make the jump to a Top Four side.
