I think he was solid, not asked to do much, but did what he was asked in relatively easy fashion. Needs to work on his distribution.
Sagna – 6
Bac was solid going forward, but got caught on the counter a few times, mainly due to his midfield giving the ball away needlessly. Overall a typical solid performance from our RB.
Koscielny – 8
Easily the best of the back four. It amazes me how he has grown into such a dependable CB in such a short time. His sliding, kung fu style clearance off Sturridge was just amazing. Unlucky to not have scored with his header hitting the post after besting Cech.
Vermaelen – 7
Solid performance from the CB, he was much better than he has been in recent weeks, clearly the return of Kos gives TV5 a sense of calm and it shows in his play.
