And so it comes down to this, the last game of the season, the last 3 points and the last chance to salvage some pride. This season won’t go down in memory as the best or even the worst but a bad result on Sunday could shape a lot of dissent in the heart’s of the Arsenal faithful. This season started amidst a lot of consternation for the fans after a disastrous summer, followed by a bad run of form early in the season. At the time, many feared that Arsenal would go the way of Liverpool and end up in the slums of mid table mediocrity. Arsene Wenger persisted with his “I believe in my players” and “They have great mental strength” and the result of that is there for all to see, one more win and we finish third. One place better than we were last season.
