Arsenal were linked, but Fulham set to tie up deal!

There had been some rumours linking Arsenal with a move for Roma stopper Martin Stekelenburg as they look to strengthen in that department. But it seems Fulham have won the race as the Daily Mail have reported he is jetting in to finalise a move to the Cottagers.
As the evening progressed there was a nervous moment for the Craven Cottage club when Roma failed to sanction the deal due to their own failures in recruiting a replacement.  
Roma were keen to sign Emiliano Viviano on loan from Fiorentina but were unable to push the deal through leaving Stekelenburg’s move hanging in the balance.
