Arsenal’s eyes light up as Man City pull out of race!

There had been some reports which claimed Arsenal and Man City were going to battle it out for the signature of highly-rated and talented Celtic defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama. But it has emerged Roberto Mancini has rubbished claims he is making a move, which leaves Arsenal with a clear run at him.
The Italian said: “I saw him for the first time against Juventus, I never saw him before.
“But every time I go to see a game, the next day people say ‘Manchester City want to buy this player’.”
When asked whether he would be interested in signing Wanyama, Mancini added: “At the moment, no. I think he is a good player.” (Sky Sports)
