Arsenal's Hopes Of Landing Winger Fading

Arsenal’s hopes of landing Monaco winger Thomas Lemar appear to be fading, according to BBC Sport.
David Ornstein, a fairly trusted Arsenal source, writes that the Gunners are now expecting to miss out on the 21-year-old, largely due to Tiemoue Bakayoko’s move to Chelsea.
The French champions have already lost Bernardo Silva to Manchester City while Benjamin Mendy is also expected to join him at the Etihad soon.
With three key players already having been sold, and Kylian Mbappe still being targeted, Arsenal now believe Monaco will not sanction the sale of any other stars this summer.
If the report is true, it would be a blow to the club’s transfer plans, with Lemar having emerged as one of the club’s top targets.
