In a very surprising development that has yet to be confirmed by either club, news has trickled from Wales that Swansea City have snapped up 21-year old English defender Kyle Bartley from Arsenal for just £1 million.
Bartley joined Arsenal as a 16-year old from Bolton Wanderers, and after two loan spells at Sheffield United in 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons, spent the entire last season on loan at Glasgow Rangers where he racked up 21 appearances for the Scottish giants.
