Bacary Sagna suffers broken fibula (again…)

Bacary Sagna has been ruled out of Euro 2012 with a broken fibula suffered in yesterday’s 3-3 draw at home to Norwich.
This is the second time that Sagna has broken his leg this season; he had surgery on the same leg back in October after falling badly in our 2-1 loss to Spurs at White Hart Lane.
The Frenchman was stretchered off in the 33rd minute after falling to the ground completely unchallenged. However, the leg break must have come from somewhere, so it obviously relates to a previous challenge. Sagna and could miss much of Arsenal’s pre-season training, and (depending on any injury setbacks) may not be fully fit at the start of the 2012/13 season.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Arsène Wenger confirmed the injury, but did not mention which player was actually responsible. Sagna then tweeted to let us know that he ...
