Barcelona monitoring Theo situation

With Theo Walcott’s contract set to expire at the same time as van Persie’s he has almost become the forgotten man as Arsenal fans wait to hear news of their captain and if he will sign a new deal.  Reports emanating from Spain hint at Barcelona monitoring the situation with Theo should he fail to sign a new deal.
I guess it wouldn’t be summer without Barcelona wanting one of our players.
Barcelona are believed to have little to spend this summer and a number of other players head up their wish list.  It is also believed within Arsenal that Theo will re-sign with the Gunners making this pretty much a ‘nothing story’ – perfect silly season fodder.
Filing this in ‘possibly true’ – that seems to be the most popular category, mostly because nearly all rumours ‘could’ be true I guess.
