In wenger’s bid to salvage Arsenal’s season owing to the dismal start, Wenger made a flurry of signings with the Israeli import as one, Yossi Benayoun a loan signing from London neighbors Chelsea. The Isreali had moved from Merseyside to Stamford Bridge as a direct replacement for the departed Joe Cole who moved in the other direction on a bossman transfer.
