Can Arsenal Hang On To Star Defender ?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been in the need for defenders throughout this season, and one player who has stepped up, taken this chance to reignite his career with the club, and take responsibility is Johan Djourou.

The Swiss international player has played across the back four on various occasions, proving his versatility and professional quality. Djourou had not been an integral part of the squad due to the excellent form of regular right back – Bacary Sagna, and the departure of usual left back Gael Clichy to Manchester City.
Djourou has improved this season, and looks a much fitter and agile defender across the park.
