Depleted Arsenal Squad Set To Take On Stoke City

With Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta out for the remainder of the season, Arsenal travel to Stoke on Saturday hoping to keep their slim lead over Newcastle and Spurs for third in the premiership intact. Arsenal last tangled with the Potters at Emirates Stadium back in October, and came away with the 3-1 victory.
Still reeling from their most recent loss at the hands of Wigan Athletic, and having only gained one point from last weekend’s match with Chelsea Arsene Wenger and company will undoubtedly be looking for a return to the form that saw them climb the EPL standings after a shaky start to their 125th campaign. PFA Player of the Year recipient Robin Van Persie was, as he has been all season long, the Gunners’ best player in said October match and will look to make an immediate impact in this one.
