Do Arsenal Really Need Yann M’Vila?

The start of July signals the official opening of the summer transfer window. Although many teams have already concluded deals for players, they cannot join up until now so we can formally welcome Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud to Arsenal ( after their breaks from EURO 2012 ).
Rumours are flying around, like every summer, with suggestions of who Arsenal are chasing and who Arsene Wenger might sell. The interest in Yann M’Vila in particular has cooled recently with many fans disappointed, but do we really need him?
The France international can be used in many ways in Arsenal but I feel we would need to lose a player or two to accommodate his arrival.
Firstly, the main suggestion is that M’Vila would play alongside Alex Song to strengthen the midfield allowing 1 of Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Tomas Rosicky or Abou Diaby to roam forward an...
