The Mail is reporting that AC Milan are close to completing the signing of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez for a reported fee of around £30million. It is thought that by selling Tevez it will make a move for Robin Van Persie possible. City are thought to prefer to sell Tevez but may be prepared to offload Edin Dzeko instead. Sources close to the situation are quoted as saying:
‘If, for any reason, that deal hits a complication, City may sell Edin Dzeko to Milan instead. But, for the moment, all efforts are focused on selling Tevez. That will open up the Van Persie deal.’
Recent speculation has also linked RVP with a move to PSG, however their move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic will almost certainly put an end to this rumour.
