German club Borussia Dortmund are looking to take the maximum possible profit from Manchester United’s interest in rising star Shinji Kagawa.
The Japanese international is said to have spoken with the Red Devils over a move to Manchester, and has labelled his talks with United manager Sir Alex Ferguson as “positive”.
However, Kagawa is tied to the German champions until 2013, and the Dortmund side definitely won’t be willing to bargain for their star player.
Rumour has it that United are looking to make a £7million deal, but they are seen as optimistic to say the least, with Dortmund’s asking price believed to be at least double.
The 23-year-old has had a successful season helping orchestrate Dortmund’s title win, and in the process, having caught Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger’s eye too.
