Aston Villa’s new Dutch defender Ron Vlaar has expressed his desire to see Arsenal captain Robin van Persie in the Barclays Premier League this up coming season.

Vlaar made the move to Villa Park on the recommendation of Van Persie, and would be disappointed to see the striker leave the Premier League.
