Steven Fletcher
The Scottish striker joined from Wolves late in the transfer window for a whopping £15m but he has already started to repay that large transfer fee. Sunderland have been without an out-and-out goal scorer since Darren Bent left and Martin O’Neill sees Fletcher as that man. Against Swansea on Saturday he scored two poachers goals, one a neat finish with his left foot and one a tap in at the far post from a cross. Sunderland fans will be excited to see him link up with fellow new boy Adam Johnson throughout the season.
