Gervinho: I knew how lucky I was to get an opportunity

He has been doubted by many Arsenal fans, but after an impressive display for the Ivory Coast during the international break where he scored and created a goal as well as winning a penalty, Gervinho returned to Arsenal revitalised and his performance through the middle for Arsenal certainly showed that newfound belief today.  Grabbing two goals, he had been speaking to the matchday programme before the match about his roots and you get the sense that he’s just an all around lovely chap who knows exactly what he has with his professional football career.  Speaking about how he first started to play football he said
