Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs spoke highly of his team after they earned a hard fought victory over Greek club Olympiacos in their second group stage match of the UEFA Champions League. Gervinho, Lukas Podolski and Aaron Ramsey were on target for the Gunners as they clinched all three points with a 3-1 scoreline.
Gervinho scored the opener for the Gunners, but the Greeks responded well by equalizing before half-time. Podolski’s 56th minute goal gave Arsenal a considerable boost and Ramsey’s late goal put the result beyond doubt on a night where the Gunners had to fight hard to continue their winning run in Europe.
