Kierran Gibbs had become the third Arsenal player to commend the impact of Steve Bould's presence on the team's defence so far this season.
The former Arsenal defender was promoted to assist Arsene Wenger after the retirement of Pat Rice at the end of the last campaign. Being a defender in his own playing days, he had used his experience to add a lot of strength to the Arsenal defence.
Arsenal has had a good start, considering the fact that they have conceded only three goals in five matches (two in the Premier League and one in the Champions League) and Gibbs said it was as a result of the Bould influence.
