Giroud explains why he snubbed Chelsea + Podolski up there with Spagna!

Last night any Arsenal interest in the Euros ended as Germany were dumped out of the semi-finals by Mario Balotelli’s Italy.
Lukas Podolski’s contribution to the tournament was summed up as he failed to make much of an impact from the left wing in the first half before being replaced at half-time. I’m not too concerned by his displays over the last couple of weeks. I don’t think that Germany were set up to make the most out of his abilities and I’m not convinced that left wing is necessarily his strongest position. I’m more interested than ever to see what Arsene Wenger has planned for a player who really came alive for his club last season playing in his more favoured central role.
